The oval-shaped drawer is wrapped in a cone and serves multiple functional purposes. Its shapes embody the concept of “form follows function.” The form of the drawer corresponds with the steam-bending technique and draws inspiration from the making process of the shaker box and “magewappa,” while expressing the idea of “form follows method.” As an object that is being used, The drawer makes cleaning the interior effortless and is also bird-friendly.
